  1. How do digital wallets work?
    A digital wallet is an electronic device that allows an individual to make electronic transactions. By adding your card to the app, you can use the app to pay for purchases. Your credit card number is not stored on your phone or shared with the merchant.
  2. Which cards can I use?
    You can use your Security Federal Debit and Security Federal Credit Card*.
  3. How do I add the card to my phone? 
    Choose your device from the following:
    Apple Pay®
    Samsung Pay
    Google Pay™
  4. What if I lose my card?
    Call our Customer Service Center at 866.851.3000 or 803.641.3000 immediately. If discovered during non-business hours, your account will be protected by calling 866.546.8273to have your card blocked. Contact Security Federal Bank immediately to reorder your card. Once you activate your new card, you will need to enroll your new card in the digital wallet of your choice. 
  5. What if I lose my phone?
    Call our Customer Service Center at 866.851.3000 or 803.641.3000 immediately. We will place a hold on your device account number or virtual account number without impacting your Security Federal Bank Debit or Credit Card. Your device account number is different than your card number, and therefore, your plastic card will not be affected and can still be used. 
  6. What is a device account number or virtual account number? This unique number is created when you add your card to your digital wallet and provides improved security because it is only used with your device. You should use this number whenever a merchant asks for the last 4 digits of your card number.
