Enrollments must be in place and all of the following transactions and activities must post and settle to your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:

2A Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account is required to be open in order to have a Kasasa Saver account.  Limit 1 Kasasa checking account and 1 Kasasa Saver account per social security number. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to open.  Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, time frames and other requirements apply. A $50 minimum deposit is required to open a Kasasa Cash or Cash Back account, and a $100 minimum deposit is required to open a Kasasa Saver account. There are no recurring monthly service charges or fees to open or close this account. Qualifications and rewards may vary by account.    Rates and rewards are variable and may change after account is opened.  Fees may reduce earnings. Enrollment in electronic services (e.g. online banking, electronic statements) is required to meet some of the account’s qualifications. Contact a Security Federal Bank (SFB) service representative for additional information, details, restrictions, processing limitations and enrollment instructions. These/this account is/are not to be used for commercial purposes.  If the account(s) is/are closed, you will forfeit any rewards that have not been credited to your account. Kasasa Cash and Kasasa Cash Back Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account’s rewards. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards:  ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by SFB as ATM transactions, purchases made with debit cards not issued by SFB, and bill payments made through SFB’s online banking. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by SFB as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards.  “Monthly Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one (1) business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle.  See the SFB website or contact one of SFB’s service representatives for specific Monthly Qualification dates. Reward Information: When Kasasa Saver is linked to a Kasasa Cash account and Kasasa Cash qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification cycle, the following rewards will be distributed to your account on the last business day of the current statement cycle (will be treated as interest for IRS Form 1099 INT reporting purposes): (1) Daily balances up to $50,000 in the Kasasa Saver account earn 0.50% APY and daily balances at or over $50,000 earn 0.25% APY on the portion of daily balance over $50,000, resulting in a range from 0.50% to 0.33% APY depending on the account’s daily balance. (2) Daily balances in the Kasasa Cash account up to $10,000 earn a non-compounding 1.50% APY; and daily balances at or over $10,000 earn 0.25% APY on the portion of daily balance over $10,000, resulting in a non-compounding range from 1.50% to 0.36% APY depending on account daily balance. (3) ATM reimbursements (max. of $4.99 per single transaction) for nationwide ATM withdrawal fees imposed by other financial institutions on the Kasasa Cash account. When Kasasa Cash account qualifications are not met, the Kasasa Saver account’s daily balance earns 0.05% APY, Kasasa Cash account’s daily balance earns a non-compounding 0.02% APY and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. The interest earned within the Kasasa Cash account does not compound since it is automatically transferred to the Kasasa Saver account within one business day. This automatic transfer may cause an overdraft to your Kasasa Cash account if the account’s balance is less than the transferred amount when transfer occurs. When Kasasa Saver is linked to a Kasasa Cash Back account and Kasasa Cash Back qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, the following reward will be distributed to your account(s) on the last business day of the current statement: (1) Daily balances up to $50,000 in the Kasasa Saver account earn 0.50% APY and daily balances at or over $50,000 earn 0.25% APY on the portion of daily balance over $50,000, resulting in a range from 0.50% to 0.33% APY depending on the account’s daily balance and will be treated as interest for IRS Form 1099 INT reporting purposes (2) the Kasasa Cash Back account will receive 2.00% cash back on up to a total of $300.00 worth of debit card purchases that post and settle to the account during that qualification cycle. A maximum of $6.00 cash back may be earned per Monthly Qualification Cycle. (3) ATM reimbursements (max. of $4.99 per single transaction) for nationwide ATM withdrawal fees imposed by other financial institutions on the Kasasa Cash Back account (will be treated as interest for IRS Form 1099 INT reporting purposes). When Kasasa Cash Back account qualifications are not met, the Kasasa Saver account’s daily balance earns 0.05% APY, no cash back payments are made into the Kasasa Cash Back account and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. 3A regular savings account can be used as a companion account for overdraft protection. During any statement cycle, you may not make more than 6 withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction, computer transfer, or by check, draft, debit card or similar order to a third party.
