Marking Another Successful $uper $avings Club School Year! 

What a FUN time we had celebrating our annual $uper $avings In-School Banking Top Savers Parties in both the CSRA and Midlands! Each June, after the school year ends, we invite the Top 3 Savers from every participating school to celebrate their hard work and dedication to saving.

And here’s the best part—these students aren’t recognized for having the largest account balances. Instead, they earned their spot by making the highest number of weekly deposits throughout the school year, demonstrating consistency, commitment, and outstanding saving habits. 

Our Top Savers enjoyed food, drinks, unlimited games, laser tag (for those brave enough to take on the challenge!), visits with Bucks Bunny, certificates, gifts, and lots of fun as we celebrated their incredible achievements. 

Every deposit represents more than money being added to an account—it reflects lessons in responsibility, patience, goal setting, and financial confidence. By developing healthy saving habits early in life, these students are building skills that can help guide their financial decisions for years to come.

The success of these celebrations is rooted in a program that has been making a difference in young lives for nearly three decades. In January 1997, Security Federal Bank opened its first Looney Tunes Savings In-School Bank (now known as the $uper $avings Club) at Aiken Elementary School. Nearly 30 years later, we continue that mission of helping children learn the value of saving money and making smart financial decisions.

Designed for children ages 11 and under, the $uper $avings Club makes saving both fun and rewarding through partnerships with elementary schools across Aiken, Edgefield, Lexington, and Richland Counties in South Carolina, as well as Columbia County, Georgia.

We are incredibly proud of every student who participates in the $uper $avings Club—and especially proud of this year’s Top Savers! Thank you to our participating schools, families, and representatives who help make this program possible year after year.
